Pastor Rachel Smith grew up in the Nazarene Church. She was saved at the age of 5 and is thankful for God's continual amazing grace. She fell in love with the Word of God at the age of 13 through studying and competing in teen Bible quizzing. At age 17 she felt the call on her life to preach the Gospel. She was ordained in 2007 and has served both as a Children's Pastor and Lead Pastor in California before coming to Freeport in 2022.

Rachel is married to Chris Smith. They have raised 3 boys and enjoy watching their grandkids grow up. Rachel is passionate about connecting with people from all walks of life, and you can often find her in a coffee shop. She strives to make her preaching applicable and easy to understand for all people.
